North West Bat Project
An initiative designed to protect and raise awareness on bats in the North West through volunteer training, publicity and batty wildlife event in February.
Funded by NIEA Challenge fund and Department of the Environment. Administered by NIEL.

Faughan Valley School Engagement programme
An exciting new environmental education initiative has been launched for primary schools in Faughan Valley in 2012.
Classroom activities and field trips to Oaks Wood and Claudy Country Park will engage pupils with local biodiversity, priority species and habitats.
The project is funded by DARD Rural Development Programme and Derry City Council.
