Hello Nature Friends!
Hi, I am living in a green town and like nature a lot. And I tried many sports you do in the park. We can share our knowledge to have a better place to live!

Dear Anne-Marie I am writing on behalf of the childcare team at Foyle Women's Aid to thank you for our Kayaking session that we availed of on Saturday 7th May 05. The children and staff that took part really enjoyed the session and we would like to compliment your staff on their excellent hospitality and for being so thoughtful and helpful to us on Saturday. Being able to provide this kind of activity for the children was a great opportunity and we are extremely grateful to Creggan Country Park for offering it to us. Many thanks to you all at Creggan Country Park. Yours Sincerely, Catherine Bradley, Foyle Womens Aid

Organisers of the Ogras Doire group (who visited the park in July 2005) have expressed their thanks to Creggan Country Park for providing the group with watersports and campcraft training delivered completely through the Irish language! "Its good for the children to feel that they are respected in the same way English speakers are when they are facilitated in the same way by local people through Irish. [We wish] to thank Creggan Country Park for making the children feel welcome and valued as Irish speakers."

Hello Ann-Marie,
The 2 groups I brought to the Park had a good time experiencing gorge walking and kayaking for the first time. I found the staff to be friendly, informative and good fun. These visits dispelled some of the myths surrounding the area where the Park is situated and hopefully will lead to requests from these young people to return to the Park and avail again of the activities on offer. Hoping to see you all again in the near future, Sharron Anderson, Lincoln Courts Youth Group

Hi Anne-Marie,
I would like to thank yourself and the staff of Creggan Country Park for such an enjoyable summer programme, which all of our children enjoyed. Some of the response I have received from parents has been over-whelming. The activities which the children have done, has given them more confidence, and they will remember this for a long time to come. Again I must congratulate all the staff of Creggan Country Park for all the time and effort that you put in to ensure that our visits are exciting and memorable.
PS: Keep up the good work!!!!!

We here at Creggan Neighbourhood Partnership find the facilities at Creggan Country Park of immense importance to the entire area. Our youth club (The Drop In Centre) use these facilities on a regular basis and the children love it. The park provides outdoor facilities for children of all ages and without it, not only would our youth club be at a loss but the entire area.
